The Portal

The Inna Sancdom Portal Stage was where I spent most of Shambhala, as the music and the vibration was the best of all the stages, with a concious intentianal attitude and excellent psy trance.

Many thanks to Gypsy Slippers for giving my the honour to perform there and all those who helped manifest it.

OTT

The headliner of most interest to me was OTT and he did not dissapoint us.
His asian flavoured dub was a hit on the Beach Stage, where he played both afternoons to a large group of us. He was quite enthusiastic to be in Canada and was very happy to get his picture taken.

Seed of Life

The Sancdom also had a small chill stage- The Seed Of Life.

Brought to us by Byron Dreamweaver and crew from Clagary, a very peaceful zone was created where people were in blissful cuddle puddles and trancendant contanct dance throughout the weekend.

Byron's psytrance set on the trance stage complimented his downtempo stylings on the chill stage.

Asides from technical difficulties that were solved by Houston, Akhentek's performance got the Portal initiated to the trance beat.

His ambient set at the Seed of Life was one of the finest i have heard.

Bluetech's set monday morning was incredible.

Gordon Field and Andrew Collins from Interchill on Salt Spring chilled us out with their fat asian dub.

Sijay and crew grooving the Living Room

The Crystal & Spore workshop was very comprehensive and brought the Shambhala experience to their philosophy quite well.

Anahata performed amzing original chillout music the Seed out - there was nowhere to dance or sit - it was so oozing with blissed out people.

Ronin & Episode 13

Houston rocked

Nils commenced the Sancdom's music with his style of ethnic beats. We also were able to share a spntaneous tag-team session in the Seed with Byron which we all enjoyed participating in.

At the end of the festival, of course i was out of space on my camera, and was unable to capture the sheer beauty and energy created on the sunday morning at the Portal.

RJ Solo brought the morning in. The Oracle Gatehering's Osiris played what i thought is the best set i have heard from him and Michael Manahan's set was deep and tribal. Bluetech wrapped it up with a full dancefloor with many great new tracks which i had not heard yet.

It was truly the best morning of the summer - can't wait until next year....
